"Tea Party members threaten to Stay home in November'

There is nothing more dangerous than sitting out an election.

Especially one as important as this election, where the direction of this country needs to be turned around, IMMEDIATELY, or we risk everything that this country was founded on.

As we look at Barack Obama's record during his presidency we see a lot of fails, and how he is incompetent on a lot of levels.  From where I sit the only thing I see that he is good at is apologizing and bowing to heads of state.

Many voters go to the polls and usually end up feeling like they are voting the lesser of 2 evils, however, if you don't vote, you don't have a say, and then we could end up with 4 more years of Barack Obama, and that my friends would  not be a good thing.

Look at Obama's track record until now:
Spending is up (double Bush's)
Unemployment is up
Deficit is up
New taxes
More government regulations
Health Care reform is a  huge mess on many levels
Job creation by private sector is down
states are on the brink of bankruptcy

That's just the highlights I can think of  on short term.  Never have I seen this country in such a mess, and every time I turn around it seems our freedoms are being more and more restricted.

I don't agree with Romney on every issue, but with that being said, I do believe he can do more to help the economy and put the U.S back on track to recovery better than Barack Obama.  We don't need to give  Barack and Michelle Obama a 'chance to finish what they started'.  Because giving them a chance to finish what they started would be  handing them a ticket to completely turn this country into a Socialist State.   Keep in mind their campaign slogan "Forward", a word that has had long ties to Socialism.

What bothers me most is how the press  reports on Ann Romney, and her spending habits, but the thing that the press, or people don't really get was it was her own money she spent.  If she wanted to spend 1,000 on a blouse, ( I wouldn't if it were me), then if she is spending her own money then its not our, or the concern of the press.  Where is the outrage from the same press when Michelle Obama takes a trip to Spain and takes her daughter with her to console her doctor, on tax payer dollars.  Where is the same outrage by the press after Obama asks congress not to make a show of lavish vacations, and then sends his family ahead of him, at tax payer expense, to Hawaii?

What we need is 'Change', and not the change Obama promised us almost 4 years ago.  We need to turn this country around, or face its demise.  And as we look to November, 2012 when we go to the polls the biggest thing  you could do to hurt your country is not go and vote.    Because not voting will hand the democrats and Obama a victory.

A party that remains divided is what the democrats want, because then they know they will have the election  won.  If we unite behind a candidate, and support him, we can take back the White House, and put this country back on track.

If Barack Obama is re-elected for another four years, may God have mercy on America and Her Citizens.

Team Bongino Sign Waving May 08, 2012

Never Underestimate the power of putting not only your name out there, but your face to go along with it.  It speaks volumes when Dan picks up new followers that saw him, yes he is out there to waving signs,  on the corner, or by the Bay Bridge waving a sign.  Every car, every pedestrian is a potential voter.  And its the voters we need to reach.

IT IS about the Economy, and No we aren't stupid

The democrats, and Obama have been doing everything they can this election to take the focus of what is really important:

The Economy.

From trying to mandate birth control and tell religious organizations what they have to and not have to provide, its becoming clear that Obama and the democrats are worried about the election in November.

Obama said that if he didn't improve the economy then he was looking at a one term presidency.  He also said he would rather be a great one term president than a mediocre two term president.  Not that I think he has done anything well this term, but to have him a second term would be an utter DISASTER!

So Obama and his minions are not only targeting wealthy people and companies who are donating to Mitt Romney, they keep trying to throw up smoke screens to distract us.

The key elements to this election are
1.  The economy.  Its just not getting better
2.  Unemployment, tied into the economy, its not the governments job to create jobs, we need the private sector to do that.
3.   Health Care, even the supreme court is waffling over the new health care law.  In fact its down right funny when the justices called trying to read the health care law cruel and unusual punishment.
4.  Budget and curtailing spending

When we look at unemployment numbers, it doesn't count the 'underemployed', or the ones that have fallen off the system.  Any number can be skewed by the government to look favorable their way, but in short when we look at the whole picture.

1.  Unemployment is basically unchanged.
2.  Prices keep going up, at the pumps and in the stores
3.  Houses are not selling like they should.
4.  National Debt and deficit keep going up.
5.  Health Care

When we look at these  5 issues that the campaign is focusing on, granted we see a trend, it all points back to the economy.  When we look at the trend in Europe and how things are going over there, we can pretty much know that the U.S.  is going to follow suit into what will be a double dip recession.

And through it all what do we have?  A family in the white house that likes to claim Romney and his family are out of touch with what they American people think, or are going through but yet lives life like they don't have to report to anyone, when in fact their actions are speaking louder than words.

And the only thing Obama can do right now that he has done the past 3 years, is play the blame game.  Not once has he stepped up to the plate saying I have not lived up to my promises.  He thinks he is owed a second chance, when in reality he was to inexperienced to be given the first chance.

He got elected because he was a better salesman.  And when that didn't work well he just called everyone racist.

But even in his own administration, he goes against the very thing he signed, the Lilly Ledbetter Act.  In which females are supposed to earn equal wages, but even he pays women on his staff LESS.

When we look at the actions of Barack Obama, we need to look no further than his words and actions to know that he will do anything he can to try to win re-election, and as we have seen he will lie to do so.  And right now that means smoke screens to try to detract the GOP and people who are seeing him for who he really is:  One of the worst presidents in the History of the United States.

So when Obama or other people try to distract us from the real issues of this election, we need to look no further than our economy to see what this election is really about.

Maybe Rep. Wilson was right when he shouted You Lie at Obama

The news is filled with reports and stories from various websites about how bad Obama Care really is for the U.S, and today was no different.

The Washington Post ran an article about a study done that shows that Obama Care will add 340 Billion to the deficit. Not to the debt but to the deficit!

Obama says 'new math', but isn't that what Obama practices every time he calculates the unemployment, and says that the numbers are dropping of unemployed?  Does he factor into his equation how many are unemployed and not eligible for benefits?  Does he factor in how many are no longer eligible for unemployment that have been receiving it?  I seriously doubt it.  He wants the numbers in his favor, so he will do anything he can to get the numbers there.  Clinton did 'new math' with the false surplus.

So lets look at the numbers and Obama's words.

Obama, and I checked this on the white house government web site, under speeches, to confirm he did say this.

That he would not sign a plan that added a dime to the deficit.

Wait, he didn't tell the truth again?  The cost of the health care 'law' if you will is estimated to add 2 Trillion to our national debt, now we can say we are going to add another 340 Billion to our deficit?  Sure its only a fraction of the cost of the package, but one has to wonder why we are adding to our debt and to our deficit when we are already in dire financial circumstance.

Looking back to just after Obama was inaugurated, one has to think of the words Representative Wilson shouted on the floor, YOU LIE!  One has to look at Obama's track record of lies and look at it as just one more reason that we do not need another four years of him, and his spending.

It's more of the do as I say not as I do mentality.

Looks like I wasn't the only one to see through Obama, now if we could get more people to see what this man is doing to this country, I think we could start to put this ocuntry back on track.

The advantages of a non career politician runningNe

This past primary election we saw a candidate nominated that is not a career politician, and along with his message, he has brought hope to what people is considered to be a very blue state.

Dan Bongino.   (Need I say more).

When I first met Dan Bongino, at Uncle Eddie's Restaurant in Essex, Maryland, I was not sure what to expect, but 45 minutes later, listening to him speak about the economy, health care, taxes, etc, one couldn't help but KNOW that this is a man while not a career politician, knows enough, and been enough about politics to know what needs to be done.

Dan has repeatedly said that he would leave the GOP  if another party embraced his values.  Running on the GOP ticket was nothing more than a way on the ballot, sure he's conservative, but I truly believe that his values and morals would extend beyond a party and that he would vote how he feels he should, not only morally and ethically.

But, with all that being said, Dan has been taking some heat for not having gotten where he is the traditional way, and maybe just maybe there is something to be said there, that without all the political connections, even though he spent 12 years in the secret service, that he knows enough how politics work and what needs to change to put this country back on track, that's more than I can say for many of the politicians that are currently serving this state.

It was no surprise to me that  Dan beat  Douglass in the primary, the man has traveled many a miles crisscrossing the state to meet people, to get his message out, to let people know why Maryland, and the United States is worth saving, what is at stake if things don't change, and change quickly:

Our Freedoms.

Everything that our forefathers have envisioned for this country is at risk.
And if they could, I would be that there are a few that would be rolling over in their graves at some of the things that are going on, not only in the United States, but in the world.

It's taken an outsider to see what is going on in politics.  I think, that it's going to take a lot more outsiders with strong moral convictions to change the direction of this country.

It takes just one to start things moving, Scott Brown won in Massachusetts, and Dan can win in Maryland.  But in order to do so, people really need to start embracing the 'outsider' who is willing to change the government from the outside in.

When you look at it, its not about a person, its not about a party, its about policies, what they embrace, Dan embraces, conservative, moral, and ethical values, something that has long since disappeared out of Washington, and something that could be returned to Washington if people would stop to embrace the outsider, and not only listen to what he has to say, but to give him a chance.

Now is not the time to be bickering about  someone's experience, its time to take action to change the direction of this country before its too late, and we really do become the USSA.

We need to support our candidate,  because if we don't, we let the 'left' bully  us because of a non political issue.

How do we know we can trust Dan for what he says?  He holds a security clearance at one of the highest levels.  He has done something that I do not believe any other politician to have ever done before, and that's have taken the polygraph.!   A clearance at the level that Dan has is not easy to get, the government is very very careful about who they give clearances to, especially those that protect the president.    Dan has worked on presidential detail under both Bush, and Obama, needless to say the respect he has for both men as people, not always their policies, shows what a man of character, and faith Dan really is.

Negative Campaigning harms more than it helps

As the date draws closer for the primary in Maryland, less than a week away, one has to look at what consistently happens during campaigns, especially as the time to vote draws near.

One word comes to mind:
Negativity.

While every candidate wants to win, it is important to stand for your ground, stay focused on the issues, and the issues this election are economy, health care, jobs, spending, deficit, and national debt. These are some of the main issues this country is facing right now, and the more one focuses on attacking another candidate, the more the focus is taken away from the important issues.

When a more conservative democrat isn't happy about the way things are going with the current administration, its important for a different party to show them what they have to offer in the way of solutions, negative campaigning towards a party member takes away from the issues, and that member who may be unhappy with their party, won't look elsewhere because of the fighting and negativity in some campaigns, thinking that's not a solution.

And while the press is great at twisting and turning words to make things sound worse than they were meant (Romney Etch a Sketch for example). Not only did Rick Santorum have to explain, and re-explain what he meant, Romney had to defend himself at times against a comment and that could have been time spent on the issues that this country is facing.

We can disagree with candidates, I've had disagreements with candidates, but in the end, it shouldn't be about negativity, it should be about where each candidate feels they can take this country and change the direction of this country, how they can make a positive impact on negative policies that have been allowed to happen.

What I find truly amazing is how some candidates are able to rise above the negativity and keep focus on the issues and not what another person is saying about them. And I think at times its not easy, but I've heard candidates themselves say they are not going to stoop to that level, and they remain focused on the issues and their campaign.
Here's wishing for a mud free slinging campaign for the rest of the time before the primary.

The Obama mentality: Do as I say, Not as I do?

With the internet being 'scrubbed' of the story of the first daughter taking a spring break trip to Mexico with 12 of her friends and 25 secret service, the first thing everyone seems to wonder is:

How much is this vacation costing taxpayers?
And that is exactly what I find on sites that still have this news article up.

But the next thing one has to wonder is why did Barack and Michelle allow such a trip when Americans are advised not to travel to Mexico? A quick stop on the internet to http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/tw/tw_1764.html shows that Mexico is on the list of places that Americans are advised NOT to travel to. The advisory was put up on February 8, 2012, so just over a month on the list, and the Obama's think its ok to send their daughter to Mexico with 12 friends?

Oh that's right they'll have 25 secret service agents protecting them. But isn't the agents responsibility to the First Family? If there were trouble would they protect Malia first, and then the other 12? Would that not be a concern for a parent sending their child. Not to mention the cost to Mexico, or the cost that Mexico is going to present to the U.S. because their police force is used.

Those are the first 2 main points everyone brings up, not that she should get a spring break, or take a vacation on spring break, but a costly taxpayer trip to a country that American's are advised NOT to travel to, that's already got people upset.

But let's take it one step further. Let's look at the economy, the fact that most people are struggling to make monthly commitments, put food on the table, struggling to fill up the tank with gas, and yet here we are watching the First Family live high on the hog like the United States isn't in a recession, paying for yet another extravagant trip, when so many can barely afford the necessities of life. It's not that they can't afford they can, but the amount they pay is likely not near as much as the tax payers end up paying, and when when many of us can not afford a vacation, maybe a few days off to a local place a couple hours away, one has to wonder just how out of touch the Obama's really are with how hard most American's are with this recession.

Doing some research on the vacations former President Bush took, many of them were to his ranch in TX, so it didn't cost the U.S near as much as it does with the vacations, Barack and his family take.

Is it to much to ask that they get in touch with reality and cut some of their spending on vacations to help ease the cost of tax payer money in fuel, security, planning, etc?

I remember Obama asking Congress not to spend lavishly before the holidays in 2011, just before he and Michelle and the kids went to Hawaii, on 2 different flights. Again, it really comes across to the taxpayers that he is out of touch with reality, and has no clue as to how much so many people are really struggling.

I don't need pictures or details of the trip, I'm already furious that I have to pay for yet another vaction for the Obama family, and the cost that goes along with it. That's all I want to know is how much is it costing us the taxpayer, and to tell the media they can not report this citing safety for the child, uh if safety was such a concern, maybe you shouldn't have sent her to Mexico in the first place. Or am I one of the few that believes a 12-13 year old is NOT old enough to travel alone to another country without her parent(s). Oh that's right, I forgot she's got 25 secret service agents to protect her.....The secret service may be there to protect her, but Michelle and Obama, they aren't baby sitters. I know each one of those men would give their life for her if necessary, why should you put them in a country where the risk is higher that they may need to do so?

So once again it appears the Obama mentality is:
Do as I say, not as I do.
